Established in 1987, Walter J. Company (WJC) provides best-in-class strategic consulting and managerial services in areas such as Real Estate, Technology, Medical, Energy, Hospitality, International Business, Education, and Non-Profit sectors. With an average of 25 years of experience, WJC’s expertise includes feasibility analyses, pro formas, discounted cash flows (DCFs), market research, and business plans.

WJC is industry agnostic and believes that excellence is achievable. With enough knowledge and drive, innovation will be the natural progression. Today, WJC has been expanding globally. WJC has invested in a substantial amount of business ventures, three of which had successful exits. The business ventures include an HMO start up, Insurance Practitioner Association, and a hotel. WJC’s purpose is to make the world better than we found it.

Dr. Walter Jayasinghe (“Dr. Jay”) always strives to achieve a very high standard in anything he undertakes. Dr. Jay is the visionary behind WJC, as well as several developments and non-profits in LA and abroad. Through all of his roles in medicine, humanitarianism, entrepreneur and developer, his mission is to cater to the needs of people by providing best-in-class services and facilities. With his proven leadership abilities, he has grown WJC extensively since its inception.

Adrian Jayasinha

Adrian stands alongside his father in the WJC leadership team. Adrian’s expertise covers a diverse spectrum of industries including finance, accounting/budget management, real estate development, and commercial property management. As a global businessman who has visited 75+ countries, Adrian has also developed close relationships with a vast array of city leaders, industry experts, and business owners.

REAL ESTATE

At WJC, we take pride in our extensive knowledge and experience, having managed over 25 properties that span more than 450,000 square feet of real estate.

WJC also consults on different product types such as commercial properties, residential properties, hotel facilities and land banking. WJC works in helping clients restructure their leases, communicate with their tenets, improve their facilities, and converting buildings into a LEED certified buildings.

MEDICAL

WJC’s extensive experience in the medical field includes the management of HMOs, IPAs, clinics, pharmacies, medical labs, and cosmetic surgery centers.

WJC provides management consulting services, financial consultation for its entities, and assistance with legal matters. Another area of expertise is medical compliance with different agencies such as Medi-Cal and Medicare, and different specialty programs such as The Comprehensive Perinatal Services Program (CPSP) and The Child Health and Disability Prevention (CHDP).

FINANCE

WJC provides crucial financial guidance stemming from 40 years of experience in strategic corporate finance.

This strategic tax planning has saved millions of dollars for our business partners and ventures using methods of tax planning that are not commonly known.

EDUCATION

Since 2000, WJC has invested in Montessori schools in the Los Angeles market. WJC has also helped build a non-profit dedicated to children in underserved communities to help create a community free from illiteracy by offering literacy and educational support where the uniqueness of the individual is embraced. Currently, we are partnering with charter schools to flourish underserved neighborhoods through art programs.

INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS

WJC invests in various industries in Sri Lanka, Dubai, Canada, and Mexico which include Mining and Precious Stones, Digital Retailing Solutions, and Real Estate.

Among these organizations are, but not limited to, the Sri Lanka Foundation (a non-profit cultural foundation), Institute of Buddha Dhamma Studies (a non-profit religious organization), and Los Angeles Medical Center Foundation (a non-profit medical group).

LAKE ON WILSHIRE

LAKE ON WILSHIRE

Located on the south side of Wilshire Boulevard between Westlake Avenue and Bonnie Brae Street, The Lake on Wilshire will transform the existing 1.64-acre site into an environmentally sensitive, smart growth project. And with no displacement, the project will create much needed housing by providing residential units for very-low income tenants. It will function as a one-stop destination for shopping, dining and entertainment located close to public transit and situated between downtown Los Angeles and Koreatown.

LAMC HOSPITAL IN SRI LANKA

LAMC HOSPITAL IN SRI LANKA

Located in Dehiwala, Sri Lanka, Los Angeles Medical Center (LAMC) Hospital will provide state-of-the-art care and facilities to underserved communities that lack access to quality healthcare. The 15-story, 224,804 square foot, hospital will include two basement fl oors, a rooftop helipad, and a 9,073 square foot service building. The private 100-bedded multi-specialty hospital is scheduled to be open to the public in 2024.

AZUSA MEDITATION CENTER

The Azusa Meditation Center project consists of the continuation and modernization of a long existing religious center into a sustainably designed, ecologically and spiritually focused campus. The project site is approximately 93.18 acres and includes the renovation of existing structures. The site will be interspersed with trees and new landscaping incorporating California native plant species to maintain the natural aesthetics of the setting.

Assisted and supported Revitalizing the Downtown Los Angeles Project headed by then Governor Jerry Brown who served as the 34th and 39th Governor of California from 1975 to 1983, and 2011 to 2019.
