Dr. Walter Jayasinghe (“Dr. Jay”) always strives to achieve a very high standard in anything he undertakes. Dr. Jay is the visionary behind WJC, as well as several developments and non-profits in LA and abroad. Through all of his roles in medicine, humanitarianism, entrepreneur and developer, his mission is to cater to the needs of people by providing best-in-class services and facilities. With his proven leadership abilities, he has grown WJC extensively since its inception.

Adrian Jayasinha

Adrian stands alongside his father in the WJC leadership team. Adrian’s expertise covers a diverse spectrum of industries including finance, accounting/budget management, real estate development, and commercial property management. As a global businessman who has visited 75+ countries, Adrian has also developed close relationships with a vast array of city leaders, industry experts, and business owners.

At WJC, we take pride in our extensive knowledge and experience, having managed over 25 properties that span more than 450,000 square feet of real estate.

WJC also consults on different product types such as commercial properties, residential properties, hotel facilities and land banking. WJC works in helping clients restructure their leases, communicate with their tenets, improve their facilities, and converting buildings into a LEED certified buildings.

MEDICAL

WJC’s extensive experience in the medical field includes the management of HMOs, IPAs, clinics, pharmacies, medical labs, and cosmetic surgery centers.

WJC provides management consulting services, financial consultation for its entities, and assistance with legal matters. Another area of expertise is medical compliance with different agencies such as Medi-Cal and Medicare, and different specialty programs such as The Comprehensive Perinatal Services Program (CPSP) and The Child Health and Disability Prevention (CHDP).

Since 2000, WJC has invested in Montessori schools in the Los Angeles market. WJC has also helped build a non-profit dedicated to children in underserved communities to help create a community free from illiteracy by offering literacy and educational support where the uniqueness of the individual is embraced. Currently, we are partnering with charter schools to flourish underserved neighborhoods through art programs.

LAKE ON WILSHIRE

Located on the south side of Wilshire Boulevard between Westlake Avenue and Bonnie Brae Street, The Lake on Wilshire will transform the existing 1.64-acre site into an environmentally sensitive, smart growth project. And with no displacement, the project will create much needed housing by providing residential units for very-low income tenants. It will function as a one-stop destination for shopping, dining and entertainment located close to public transit and situated between downtown Los Angeles and Koreatown.

LAMC HOSPITAL IN SRI LANKA

Located in Dehiwala, Sri Lanka, Los Angeles Medical Center (LAMC) Hospital will provide state-of-the-art care and facilities to underserved communities that lack access to quality healthcare. The 15-story, 224,804 square foot, hospital will include two basement fl oors, a rooftop helipad, and a 9,073 square foot service building. The private 100-bedded multi-specialty hospital is scheduled to be open to the public in 2024.

AZUSA MEDITATION CENTER

The Azusa Meditation Center project consists of the continuation and modernization of a long existing religious center into a sustainably designed, ecologically and spiritually focused campus. The project site is approximately 93.18 acres and includes the renovation of existing structures. The site will be interspersed with trees and new landscaping incorporating California native plant species to maintain the natural aesthetics of the setting.
